Hello,
I would be very much interested in such a module. In our research group we like to keep most of our notes in XHTML format and use a similar setup as the folks at W3C for that purpose. The only thing that is stopping us from completely adopting BlueGriffon is the lack of this feature.
Thanks.

Hi,

Every time I open a charset=8859-1 html document this one is converted into charset=UTF-8 and all closing tags are removed!

A post already explained this problem in early versions.

Impossible to use in these conditions

------------------------------------------------------------

Salut,

Kamata-san,
I hope that the Mozilla/Gecko engine supports vertical text, Ruby, and right to left content flow. This would make BlueGriffon/ePUB a good contender for the Japanese market.

At this point in time, the WebKit nightly builds provide better CSS 3 support for Japanese. For your information, the FUSEe authoring tool is based on the latest WebKit builds, and it supports some level of EPUB3 authoring (you probably know about this software already):

http://development.fusenetwork.co.j...

Anyway, personally I am looking forward to beta-testing BlueGriffon/EPUB !

Version 1.1 and 1.1.1 have introduced a bug where the page encoding set in the page wizard (iso-8859-1) is altered to UTF-8 when the file is saved.
1. Use Page Wizard to create a new page and within the wizard set the charset encoding to be iso-8859-1.
2. Place some text in the file and save it.
3. Close the file and Bluegriffon.
4. Browse to the html file on your hard drive and open it in Notepad ++
5. Observe the charset encoding in the meta tags... it is UTF-8 and not iso-8859-1
