I suppose you mean newline is one LF.
E.g. it converts CR+LF to just LF on e.g. Windows systems (and back if you reset it).
/nitpick? (don't know about any particularities of kbd keys)

It lacks an rpm for openSUSE. There are only two distributed package: Ubuntu and Fedora. A package for openSUSE would be welcome.

Will it be possible to format text with shortcuts ? I miss this Dreamweaver feature. For example, CTRL + 1 to change a paragraph in a H1 title, CTRL + 2 for H2, etc.

Komodo has something like customizable keybindings, but I don't really like the implementation as it only works in some places (it's addEventListener based).

Excited to see what the BlueGriffon implementation will look like! Given that you're doing it, it's probably less hacky
